G.U.M Dental Rinse

日本からのお土産に、G.U.M Dental Rinseが入っていたので有り難い。デンマークでも探してみたが、今のところこういった類の製品を見たことが無く入手困難だと思われる。

Among many gifts from Japan, there is G.U.M Dental Rinse which is very helpful for me. So far, I haven't found this kind of goods in Denmark. Therefore it is a sort of rare goods around here.

そういえば気に入っている製品といっても何が成分なのか把握していないなと思って、よくラベルを見てみた。

By the way, suddenly I thought that I am not familiar what is the actual ingredients for this one of my favorite products.

まずは、気になったキーワード。
*　歯周病菌を殺菌、LPS (Lipopolysaccharide) を除去
*　歯肉炎、歯周病予防
*　清掃助剤CAE (PCA ETHYL COCOYL ARGINATE) がLPSの吸着を助け
*　薬用成分CPC (Cetylpyridinium Chloride) がLPSを不活性化
*　薬用成分ビタミンEが歯茎の血行を促進

First, these are the keywords which are impressive to me.
* To sterilize periodontitis and remove LPS (Lipopolysaccharide)
* To prevent periodontal disease
* CAE(PCA ETHYL COCOYL ARGINATE), cleaning assistant help you as to LPS adsorption
* CPC (Cetylpyridinium Chloride), medical component inactivates LPS
* Vitamin E increase gum bloodstream.

尚、助剤を英語では何て表現するのか分からなかったけど、MEDO 医学英語単語
というページが役に立った。素晴らしい。確かにassistantだ。

Incidentally, I didn't have any idea about English word for Japanese 'Jozai', but this web page MEDO MedicalEnglishWords helped me. Excellent. Certainly I can agree that it means assistant.

専門用語を英語にするのは結構手間だったが、最後の最後にサンスターの英語のページに行き当たる。もっと先に知りたかった、、、 (^_^;

It was quite hard to translate Japanese jargon to English one, but after I search tons of pages on the Internet, finally I got to know Sanster's English Page.
I wish I could know much earlier... 　:-(

全く関係無い話だが、水素化合物って英語でハイドライドって言うとは知らなかった。ハイドライドって聞いたらどうしても８８か９８のPCゲームしか連想しなかったので。アルファベット表記にすると水素化合物はHydride,ゲームの方はHidlide。

This is a totally sidestory, but I didn't know the English word of 'Hydride'. Everytime I hear the sound of (hdrd), it makes me easily associate the ancient PC game title 'Hydlide' well-known as software for PC-88 series or PC-98 series in Japan like Commodore 64.
