Feeling Japanese

30.Dec.2005

I got up around 9:30 and played 'Animal crossing' lying in the bed. ;-)

After having left hotel, we took the U-bahn 3 bound for Rödingsmarkt.
We had a reservation for hair cut at the Japanese hair salon, but on the way there,
we also drop in the Japanese restaurant Shiki and made a reservation for lunch menu in case.

In the hair salon, I could talked with the owner in Japanese having my hair cut.
So I asked him some questions that I was wondering at.
For instance, why the red lights are always double number of green light.
But his answer was ... he hasn't cared about that so far.
Mmm..... it is also amazing to me...
And I also asked where we can find nice German restaurant around there.
His answer was ... Imbiss is the most suitable and reasonable place to eat
for Japanese who imagines his ideal German food.
Mmm.... that sounds very similar to the hotdog stand in Denmark...

After hair cut, we ate Una-ju that is a sort of lunch box with eel topped by Sanshou which means Japanese pepper. 18 euro was very reasonable for us to eat Japanese food in restaurant.
Perhaps it is very hard to have same one with same price in Denmark.
Especially I was very happy to have Chawan-mushi.

Then, we visited Rathaus on foot and went a department store.
I don't know why precisely, but the atomosphere inside reminds me Japanese department store.
Having looked around, we went to '
Asia Markt Mi Poong' which sells many Japanese foods.
My wife looked very happy to have that kind of stuffs with reasonable price.
We had a Natto, ingredients for Okonomi-yaki and etc...

Today we can feel many Japanese stuffs that we hardly do in Copenhagen.

うう、仕事が始まるとやっぱりblogを書いてる暇が無い。
早くも日本語の文章を後回しにする羽目になってしまった。
休日あたりに追記するしかねぇな、、、写真も添付できてないし。くそぅ。
