Preparation for a trip to Hamburg

As preparation for our stay in Hamburg during winter vacation, I arranged data for mobile devices like PDA and iPod.
Especially iPod seems to be useful when I want to glance at the map of city or diagram of U-bahn .
The advantage is that I don't have to wait so long time before it finishes launching, and the battery keeps longer than my PDA.
I have to create my own data by myself, though.
Unfortunately, the resolution of the iPod screen is 320x240 is much harder to browse than my PDA that has 640x480.
So I believe it is smart to use each of them according to the situation.

By the way, in that preparation, it was very helpful to look around Blogs whose topics are 'life in Hamburg'. We could get info regarding Japanese hair salon and supermarkets comparatively easily.

冬休みをハンブルグで過ごすので、その用意としてPDAやらiPodやらに携帯できるデータを入れてみた。
特にiPodは街の地図や地下鉄U-bahnの路線図 をさっと見る時に便利そうだ。
PDAよりも電池切れになりにくいし、閲覧までの起動も待たなくて良いのも利点だろう。
自分でデータを作成しなきゃならんけど。
ただ、iPodの場合は解像度が320x240なので、PDAの640x480には適わない。
場合に応じて使い分けるのが吉だろう。

ところで準備していて思ったのだが、「ハンブルグの生活」がテーマになっているブログはとても有用であった。
美容室やスーパーマーケットに関する情報も比較的容易に入手できたんで。
