Mobile phone environment

This is a note that I was impressed with mobile phone in Sweden.
First of all, I got a SMS message from TELIA while the train was passing Oresund bridge.

先日マルメに行った際、電話について印象に残っていること。
まず、オーレスン大橋を渡った時に、SMSメッセージがTeliaから届いた。

Welcome to Telia.
You can call 00 45 80 20 20 20 for customer service in TDC.
Enjoy your stay in Sweden!


And after a while, I got another message like following.

でその後にも別のメッセージが。

Velkommen til Sverige! Vodafone ønsker Du får et godt ophold her.

I think this means...
Welcome to Sweden! Vodafone wish you get a nice visit here.

スウェーデンへようこそ！Vodafoneは貴方の滞在が快適になるよう願っています。
ってな意味だろう。

Then the displayed word 'TDC MOBILE' on my mobile phone's screen has changed to 'TELEA'.
It is nice and kind service to let you know the available area for mobile has changed.

そしてスクリーンにデフォルトで表示されていたTDC MOBILEがTELIAに切り替わる。
通話圏が変更したことを知らせてくれるのは有り難いと思った。

By the way, in Denmark, the telephone number is represented by 8 digit numbers.
For instance, regarding the number '12 34 56 78', you can call the Danish mobile phone in Sweden with ' 00 45 12 34 56 78'.
'00' means International number and '45' means country number for Denmark.
In other words, all you have to do is just add '00 45' to the usual phone number even if the mobile phone you are calling is in Sweden.
I thought it is very cool that you don't have to take care the actual flow that International phone from Sweden to Denmark is redirected to the mobile phone in Sweden via Telia automatically.

尚、デンマークでは携帯も含めて電話番号は8桁の数字によって特定されるのだが、
例えば　12 34 56 78　というデンマークで利用している携帯電話にスウェーデンからかける場合は
00 45 12 34 56 78　とコールすれば繋がった。
念のため書いておくと、00が国際電話番号で45がデンマークの国番号。
つまり、相手側の携帯電話がスウェーデンにあったとしても、いつも利用している8桁の前に 00 45 を付けるだけでよい。
一旦、国際電話でデンマークのTDCに接続された通話がスウェーデンのTeliaに通話圏に帰ってきて携帯電話が鳴ることを意識しないで良いのでこれまた親切なシステムだと思った。
